RWA 2008: San Francisco, CA

Day 5: August 2, 2008

Silly me, I got ambitious and decided to take in several workshops. Talk about information overload! I did take time out to play fangirl and scope out the other publisher signings. Sherrilyn Kenyon didn’t wear her swan hat this year, though.

Day 4: August 1, 2008

Had a fun breakfast with Kris Alice Hohls of LoveLetter Magazin, Lucy Abarcia who came bearing Tim Tams, Diane Whiteside and Juleigh Start, the author liaison for the Australian Romance Readers Convention. It’s hard to believe it’s already Friday. I wasn’t as good taking pictures today, though I did manage to catch some of my fellow Berkley authors at the Berkley signing.

Day 3: July 31, 2008

The third day of RWA National and the partying starts in earnest—the Passionate Ink party, the Kensington party where I met up with some of my fellow Aphrodisiacs, the PASIC party where I caught up with Diane Whiteside—I’m surprised I was still walking straight at the end of the day.

Day 2: July 30, 2008

The first day of RWA National and I had a blast at the Literacy signing. There were so many people I couldn’t keep up. Lucy Abarcia of Ever After—The Romance Book Specialists in Australia came up to introduce herself, but I forgot to have a picture taken with her. I want to thank those who took the time to come down and helped made it such a success.

Day 1: July 29, 2008

The conference hasn’t officially started yet, but you couldn’t tell by the conversations. At the Brown Literary Agency dinner, there were several new faces including Saskia Walker straight from the UK, Lillian Feisty, Sandra Hyatt, Larissa Ione, Rosemary Potter of Rosemary’s Romance Books in Australia, Kristin Nelson of the Nelson Literary Agency, and Jax Cassidy who maintains the BLA website.
